The tide of public opinion concerning abortion is changing.  More Americans now consider themselves pro-life instead of pro-choice, a definite shift from only a decade ago.  There are a number of reasons for this shift, but in my opinion one of them is stories like mine are making a difference.  The bottom line truth that abortion hurts women has made its way into the public debate.  The fact that the most recent books on the subject are centered on the stories of women illustrates this shift from purely theoretical debate to the emotional, real-life consequences of abortion.
